Russian Construction came to Makreate for an end-to-end graphic-design and brand-communications system — sales decks, capability statements, project case studies, social media templates, on-site banners and tender-response document templates. The business was winning serious enterprise work but the visual presentation of that work was inconsistent, project to project. The brief: a single, governable visual system that any team member could use without losing brand integrity.
Discovery
We audited two years of outgoing client documents and identified the patterns that mattered — and the patterns that were costing the brand credibility. Inconsistent type, mixed-quality photography, varied colour use, and a different layout on every deck. The fix wasn't another rebrand; it was a working system the existing team could actually use, in the tools they already had.
Strategy
Build a Russian-Construction visual language anchored on three concrete, scalable artifacts: (1) a strict grid system, (2) a curated photography direction, and (3) a typography lockup that scales from a one-page capability statement to a 40-page tender response without losing rhythm. Then build the templates inside the tools the team works in day-to-day (PowerPoint, Word, Adobe).
Execution
We produced the full system across both Adobe and Microsoft Office. PowerPoint and Word templates were engineered with master slides, paragraph styles and predefined layouts so the sales team can produce a fully-branded 20-page deck in an afternoon without designer support. We also designed the standard project case-study format, social templates for project announcements, and on-site signage standards.
Outcome
The most measurable outcome is internal: the sales team produces compliant, on-brand deliverables on their own. Internal design requests dropped, and tender responses started looking the part of a firm of the size Russian Construction actually is. The system has held up well across new project announcements and seasonal campaigns.
