The brief

Shabbir Enterprises is a mid-sized B2B distributor of building materials and industrial safety equipment. The business had been growing through reputation and referrals for years, but the brand on paper didn't match the brand customers actually experienced. The logo, palette, sales decks and signage looked dated against newer, better-positioned competitors entering the market. Makreate was hired to give the business a brand identity that could carry it into the next decade of growth.

Discovery

We spent the first phase listening — to the founders, the warehouse staff, and three large existing buyers. The story we heard was consistent: Shabbir Enterprises wins on reliability and on the personal accountability of the leadership team. They're the supplier you call when an industrial project absolutely cannot afford a delay. That insight became the spine of the new brand: serious, reliable, accountable — none of which the existing brand actually communicated.

Strategy

Positioning: 'The supplier you call when the deadline is real.' Visual direction: industrial, structural, confident. We deliberately avoided the soft consumer-style polish that's popular in branding right now — the buyers in this category respond to weight and competence, not whimsy. Typography is strong and architectural; the palette uses a restricted set of industrial neutrals with a single accent for high-attention moments.

Execution

We delivered a complete brand identity: wordmark and brand-mark, a structured grid system, a primary and secondary palette, a typography pair, iconography, a photography direction, and document templates for quotations, invoices and technical sheets. We also built brand-aligned PowerPoint and Google Slides templates the sales team uses for enterprise pitches, plus standards for signage and packaging.

Outcome

The first feedback came from the sales team — pitches felt less defensive. Enterprise prospects took the company more seriously on first contact than they had before. The leadership team now has a brand asset library the entire organisation pulls from, which has cut the previous churn of one-off, off-brand materials being created ad-hoc by different teams.
