The brief

Golden Care General Trading LLC (GCGT) is a UAE trading and distribution company expanding into new product categories and new client segments. The existing brand had served the business well in its first chapter, but the leadership team felt it no longer matched the operation's scale or its ambition. Makreate was hired to refresh the brand identity, build a new web presence, and develop a creative advertising approach to drive growth into the new categories.

Discovery

We started with the leadership team: where the business had come from, where it was going next, what specifically had to change in how it showed up in market. We then ran a competitive teardown of regional trading companies in the same and adjacent categories, mapping how each one positioned itself visually and verbally. The opportunity was clear: most companies in the category looked and sounded interchangeable. A more confident, distinct brand would compound in market.

Strategy

We positioned GCGT around accountability and personal service — the things existing clients actually praised the company for. Visually, we moved away from the muted, conservative palette common in the trading category, toward a more contemporary, confident system that read younger without losing seriousness. Strategically, the website and the advertising were treated as connected systems: ads bring the prospect to a page that does the rest of the heavy lifting.

Execution

Full identity system (logo, palette, typography, iconography, templates, brand book), a new website covering company overview, capability statements, category pages and a robust enquiry funnel, and a creative-advertising approach for the social and search channels GCGT's audience actually uses.

Outcome
