Inside the KAI project.

The brief

KAI Tech needed an AI-powered Learning Management System that could personalize learning for students while giving teachers and administrators the visibility they need to support better outcomes. Makreate led UX research, product thinking, interface design, and testing for the platform experience.

Discovery

We mapped the needs of students, teachers, and institutions, then looked at competing LMS products to understand where the category felt too complex, too rigid, or too hard to track. The goal was to make learning progress easier to understand and easier to act on.

Strategy

We shaped the experience around a personalized roadmap: students assess their prior knowledge, receive a tailored path, and move through learning with clearer feedback. For teachers and administrators, the product needed to surface progress, analytics, and oversight without burying key information.

Execution

The work included UX audit, market research, user experience research, interface design, a visual system using DM Sans, color-system exploration, product screens, and website design assets for the KAI Tech platform.

Outcome

The final direction gave KAI Tech a clearer, more polished AI LMS experience: interactive courses, student progress tracking, teacher analytics, and administrator oversight brought together in one product story.
